Surprise! Surprise! If you are an avid follower of Kintsugi of Life, you might be wondering why my categories are all wrong and changed. A lot of my posts are also missing. No, my blog was not hacked but instead, it evolved again because I am finally finding my niche. It’s super awesome but super hard, too. I had to let go of a lot of topics I usually talk about around here, but it’s for the best.
If you don’t know what my categories were before the change, they were Lifestyle and Money, Travel and Dine, Beauty and Fashion, Books and Movies, and Blogging Tips. That’s a lot because I’m like one of those bloggers who blog about anything they like and anything they find interesting. But I’ve realized that I’m confusing my readers so I did a blog clean up. Finally, after weeks of thinking about how I’m going to play it out, I’ve squeezed Kintsugi of Life into only four categories but with a lot of sub categories under those. Don’t worry, I’m still going to blog about what I used to blog but picked and molded as topics that are related to my blog goal, which is LIFE. Too broad? By the blog name’s definition, it’s seeing more beauty after being broken.
My blog goal is being helpful to those who are like me. To help and inspire others to be better in whatever aspect of their lives. To show others how to be more positive. To lead others towards the path of financial freedom. And to talk about what started this all—Blogging. The same way I have evolved, my blog evolved into something better and more composed, which I’m sure you’ll love.
I won’t be doing anymore book reviews, or movie reviews. But I know some of you guys like those and I like them, too. Hell, I love books and movies. So, I have plans on launching a new blog to showcase Books and Movies. I wanted to keep that topic here, but it just wasn’t clicking with what I want Kintsugi of Life to turn into. So stay tuned for the new blog launch.
What to expect from the new Kintsugi of Life?
KOL is now divided into four categories, Life, Self-Development, Finance, and Blogging.
Expect to find inspirations. I’ll still be talking about how wonderful and enjoyable life is when travelling the world and stuffing your face with totally yummy food. The usual Special Finds topics turned into Awesome Finds. I’m also starting this new topic ‘Thankful For’ to showcase things that I’m thankful for in life and start a community of thankful members who also have things to be thankful for in their lives. You’ll also learn about my blog goals and maybe even my life goals. Of course you’ll definitely learn about my financial goals. And as I’ve mentioned in my last inspiration post, I will dig up my buried artist and start sketching and drawing again.
I’ve always found that sharing and talking about something allows me to learn more and become a master of that topic. So since I want to help myself, I’m sharing about self-development. If you don’t already know, I’m a pessimist, I’m a paranoid, a little bi-polar, and just all sorts of negativity runs in my blood. But I keep on improving because I want to be better and I want to inspire others who are like me to be better, too.
I’ll be continuing to share with my readers what I know and what I’ve learned about finance. So walk with me towards the path of financial freedom. This month, I’m also giving a free financial assessment, so be sure to join in. You can register for it here.
Over the one year that I’ve been blogging, I really enjoyed it. I love seeing how my blog and my audience grew and I want to share the things I do to get to where I need to be. I’m also addicted to editing my blog look but not in a major reconstruction that will totally shock you the next time you get back here, at least for now, but just those little adjustments that shows continues improvement. And I’ll be sharing blog editing here, too.
I’m so excited about the next couple of months for 2015. I have so much planned for Kintsugi of Life, so make sure to join me as I tackle on life. Bring it!
