2017 Blog Goals

2017 Blog Goals

I know I haven’t been blogging much lately and I totally hate myself for it because I’m letting the other things in life drag me down. But 2017 is going to be a new chapter so I am making my 2017 Blog Goals.

I think I stopped blogging again for about 2 months, or maybe even more. I’ve noticed it’s always towards the end of the year that it happens. I guess it’s because when I look at my previous goals, I haven’t really reached or done much so I’m likely to get demotivated. It’s really hard and it’s been hard to be a blogger but blogging is one of the things that I love to do and even if I give up on it for a little while I’ll always go back to doing it. I can never totally quit it for good.

So this year I’m going to set my 2017 blog goals and plans again and just keep on blogging.

Grow My Social Media

Most specifically the social medias that I’m keeping active right now, like the Facebook pages of all three of my blogs, my Instagram account for Flavorful Travels, and my Twitter and Pinterest account for KOL Blogging. For the rest of my other inactive and not growing accounts, I will be deleting them because they are just wasting my time.

Publish Regular Post

I do not regret that I’ve started three blogs, but I do admit that they are all so hard to maintain at once. I do not know what I was thinking. Ha! So the only solution I’m thinking is to post less.

For KOL Blogging, I will be posting at least once a month but I will make sure that my posts will be delicious and very informative as ever.

For Start With A Peso, I will be posting twice a month. And for Flavorful Travels, nearly every week.

I know you’ve noticed that I decided to post less on KOL Blogging and more on my other two blogs, Start With A Peso and Flavorful Travels. That’s because I’m changing the audience that I’m trying to build and I want to write more about the things that I enjoy the most. Of course, I enjoy blogging a lot but getting technical all the time really makes my head hurt, especially when I’m already doing it during my daytime job. So I want to post more about the fun things like travelling and eating.

Be A Travel Vlogger On Youtube

I’ve started embedding vlogs on my blogs already, but now I want to focus on my travels. I’m so inspired by blogger like Louis (Fun For Louis) and Ben (Mr Ben Brown) that I want to create awesome videos like they do. But I won’t leave blogging for vlogging. I still very much prefer writing than talking. But vlogging will also help me to talk more because I’m not really a talkative person. I only start talking a lot when there’s beer in my system. Ha! But I just know that I have so much to offer that there’s just so little I can do to show them to the world so I’m trying to do more.

More Quality For Whatever I Publish

Sometimes I get lazy, I know, and I have no excuse. Recently, I’ve published a bunch of videos on Flavorful Travels without much content and I do feel bad about them but I’m not going to take them down. Instead, I’m going to improve them, at least as the content of the blog. And I’m going to improve my videos as well and everything that I publish on all three of my blogs.

Get In Touch With Other Bloggers And Vloggers

So the biggest thing that I fail to do every time as a blogger is to create my network. I’m not an introvert but sometimes I can become a very closed person and I only like to talk or communicate with people when I need to. But this year, all of that is going to change. It’s another reason why I need to be talkative. Bloggers and vloggers shouldn’t just shut up because have a lot to say and we need to make connections.

These are my big goals for 2017 on my blogging. I have more detailed plans but I won’t be sharing them here just yet. I’m motivated to start again with this new year, I hope you are as well.
